Monika Sattler
Monika Sattler is an adventure and gravel cyclist, cycling record holder, TEDx speaker and a mindset and leadership coach. She is the first woman who rode the 3000km Vuelta a España at the same day as the professionals, just hours beforehand. This Vuelta Project received international media attention.
With decades of professional, athletic and personal experience, she developed a method that helps leaders to empower themselves and others to develop a mindset of success.
She speaks frequently at conferences including Eurobike and VELOBerlin and is the author of the book “Unleashing your RAD potential”. She is currently writing a gravel cycling guide that will be published with Delius Klasing in Spring 2023. In addition, she has been elected to be a board member for Trips for Kids, an organization that enables underserved kids to ride bikes.
A graduate from Georgetown University, she has previously worked for the International Monetary Fund, the World Bank and IBM. Originally from Germany, she has lived in the USA, Australia, Spain and now lives in Bern, Switzerland.
